Layered Mexican Dip

Makes 6-8 Servings

Ingredients

1 cup plain 0% M.F. Greek yogurt 250 ml
1 tbsp reduced sodium taco seasoning mix 15 ml
3/4 cup salsa from a jar 180 ml
ripe avocados, halved, pitted and peeled
1 1/2 cups shredded reduced-fat cheddar cheese 375 ml

Instructions

Step 1
In a medium bowl, combine yogurt and taco seasoning mix. Spread evenly over bottom of a 9-inch/23-cm glass pie dish.

Step 2
In a small bowl, mash avocados, then evenly spread over yogurt. Evenly top with salsa, then with cheese. Serve dip with baked tortilla chips or whole grain crackers.
