thin style multigrain bagel
slice cheddar cheese 25 g
half small apple, cored and sliced half
┬╝ cup grated carrots 60 mL
2 tbsp raisins or dried cranberries 30 mL
half avocado, sliced (optional) half
This simple and delicious snack is easy to make and enjoy.


Step 1
Toast bagel and place halves on plate. Place apple slices on bagel and cut cheese into strips to place on top of apple slices. Microwave for about 30 seconds or until cheese is melted.

Step 2
Sprinkle with carrots and raisins. Top with avocado, if using.


To keep the bagel crisp, you can melt the cheese in a toaster oven in a small baking pan.
