Frozen Tropical Vacation Pops

Makes 12 servings

Homemade frozen pops are easy and fun to make and even better to eat!

Ingredients

ripe bananas, mashed
1 cup low-fat coconut-flavored yogurt 250 mL
1 cup unsweetened orange juice 250 mL
Frozen pop molds or paper cups with sticks

Instructions

Step 1
In a bowl, combine bananas, yogurt and juice until well blended.

Step 2
Pour banana mixture into molds and insert sticks. Freeze for at least 4 hours, until solid, or for up to 5 days.

Tips

There is no need to use a blender; in fact, it’s better to make this by hand, as chunks of banana add to the texture.
Be sure to choose 100% unsweetened juice, not just in this recipe but always!
