Sweet Potato “Fries”

Makes 5 servings

Ingredients

1 lb sweet potatoes, each cut lengthwise into 6 wedges 500 g
2 tsp vegetable oil 10 mL
1/4 tsp paprika 1 mL
1/8 tsp garlic powder 0.5 mL
  Black pepper  
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C)
  • Baking sheet, lightly greased

Instructions

Step 1
Place potatoes in a bowl. Add oil, paprika and garlic powder. Season with pepper to taste. Toss to coat. Transfer to baking sheet. Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes or until tender and golden, turning once.

Tips

Sweet potatoes are cooked when you can easily insert a fork, into the flesh.
