Traditional Guacamole

Ingredients

large avocados from Mexico
1/2 cup finely chopped onion 125 mL
1/4 cup chopped cilantro 60 mL
serrano pepper, chopped (seeds included)
1 tsp sea salt, or more to taste 5 mL

Instructions

Step 1
Mash up avocados in a bowl.

Step 2
Add in onion, cilantro, pepper and salt and stir to combine.

Step 3
Serve with tortilla chips, vegetables or dipper of choice.

Tips

Mexican green onion is ideal but red onion works great!
