Tropical Cooler

The idea for this refreshing cooler came from the beaches of southern Thailand. Carts line the beach, offering fruit concoctions to cool you down in the tropical heat. Great for a warm summer day in any country!

Ingredients

ripe banana
1 cup diced seedless watermelon 250 mL
1 cup pineapple juice 250 mL

Instructions

Step 1
In blender, on high speed, blend banana, watermelon and pineapple juice until smooth and creamy.

Tips

Add ice cubes if the fruit is not cold enough.

Variation:
Any of your favorite fruits will work. Always use a banana for creaminess, then add 1 cup (250 mL) diced fruit and 1 cup (250 mL) fruit juice. 
Some fruit suggestions are: pineapple, mango, cantaloupe, honeydew, papaya, kiwi, frozen or fresh berries. Some juice suggestions are: orange, apple, cranberry, white grape, tropical blend, pomegranate, blueberry.
For a special party treat, add a shot of rum, coconut rum or vodka.
