Super Fruit Face

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups low fat vanilla or fruit flavoured yogurt 375 mL
1 small banana 18 banana slices (about 1 small banana)  
2 small strawberries 6 strawberry slices (about 2 small strawberries)  
half a pear 6 pear slices (about half a pear)  
half an apple 3 apple slices (about half an apple or 1 slice of cantaloupe)  
3 blueberries or raspberries  
Make this snack in the morning and refrigerate it so it is ready for an after school snack. Or make it and enjoy it right away. Either way it will be a big hit with kids.

Instructions

Step 1
Divide yogurt among 3 plates and spread to form a small circle.

Step 2
Place 6 banana slices across the top of each circle for the hair, 2 slices of strawberries each for the eyes and 2 slices of pears each for the ears.

Step 3
Place the apple slices on the yogurt for the mouth and the blueberries for the nose.

Step 4
Use a toothpick to dip the fruit in the yogurt and enjoy! You can also use low fat plain yogurt if desired and flavour it with honey or cinnamon.
